Tree description

Winston’s Wish is a charity supporting children after the death of a parent or sibling. I lost my dad when I was six years old and Winston’s Wish £1k challenge came about when I turned 40 and wanted to help a good cause with a lot of personal significance. It is not a separate charity but I run it with the approval of Winston’s Wish.

Although the main event is now over I still do some fundraising every year. I enter tree or wreath for the festival of Christmas trees to raise awareness of childhood bereavement and also of course to raise money for our wonderful hospice. Winston Bear is the charity’s mascot and can be seen at the top of the wreath.
